Mistrust between neighbors, Aspiration to become Regional powers, Bloody wars etc. lead to hike in Military Budgets, Arms race and Nuclear Detterence in the Subcontinent and much more as it is the "Beginning Of Cold War II" in the Indian Subcontinent.
